The Thoughts, Feelings, The Life Of Sweetness
Nothing Left For Me To Take
Let me tell you about
when I was young
people use to think
I had it all.
But little did they know
the things I went through
for I never let it show
but it was hard to do.
I hid the tears
for so many years,
but inside my heart
there was always pain.
The lie that I was living
was hard for me to fake
and now that I'm forgiving
there's nothing left for me to take.
But now I'm doing better
now that I am grown
everything's left behind me
It's all only a memory.
All the lies that I was living
It was so hard to fake,
I'm a grown woman now,I'm forgiving
so there's nothing left for me to take.
