When You Need A Friend, I'll Be There

* * * Sis.....When You Need A Friend, I'll Be There * * *

Friendship is a longing,
A feeling of belonging,
To someone who cares,
One who gives and shares.

You are that someone for me,
For you are like a sister to me.
I treasure you for the person you are,
Like a crystal blue ocean from afar.

Selfishness will never rule your world,
Like your warm heart could never be cold.
As you strive with God's strength,
You reach out beyond your gifted length.

No matter how near or far,
I will always trust in you by far.
Though times of sadness may visit you,
I'll be beside you to comfort you.

It takes two to hold on to friendship,
And with you I have no hardship,
For to know me is to understand me,
And your beliefs mean the world to me.

With these words, I thank the Lord,
For the many blessings He has restored.
May He keep you healthy and strong,
To keep your wisdom growing with no wrong.
