From my mind

  Migraine

There is a pain in my in my head
It runs from the back to the front
Right behind my eye
It powers and powers on
Until I feel that I could cry

There is a pain in my head
Going right through my brain
I don't know if I can take any more
For it's driving me Insane

A kindly voice a soft cold hand
A cuddle she always understands
Now take your tablet get up those stairs
Lay down on the bed and rest your head
For you have the look of a zombie
The look of the living dead

I close my eyes and hope for sleep
To dream it all away
But the pain just twists the knife
A little more and says I'm here to stay
Now if I move I'm sure this head
Will be like a cannon on reload
Just waiting for the hair trigger to click
Bang and then explode

This man lies on the bed
Like a little child weak and all forlorn
When he awakes from a deep, deep sleep
He hopes he will be reborn

Now if you were too curse someone
Just look at the words you have read
For migraine is the curse of all curses
To put inside anyone's head.
