The chrysalis of the moth is tough, spun silk; and the MOTH when it is transformed and ready to emerge from it's self imposed confinement...MUST STRUGGLE in order to gain it's freedom.
The hard work of the struggle is what strengthens the moth to be able to survive...To cut the chrysalis open, in order to "help" the moth would only set it free to DIE, for it would not have attained sufficient strength to survive, without the struggle to FREE ITSELF.
