Heart Of The Matter

Perhaps

I haven't quite forgotten of,
Our walks along the shore,
The heady scent of summer,
And the closing of a door,
I do still think about you,
Every minute of my day,
And live in hope that love now lost,
Will cross my path one day,

The truth is that you're part of me,
The part that makes me breathe,
Essential to survival,
Well, that's what I believe,
I haven't quite forgotten,
How much you changed me so,
And if you read this letter,
Perhaps, my love, you'll know.
