Yep, It Has To Be…A Day At A Time!Yep, Jeff, it sure has to be; Simply; one day at a time! Baby-steps, no running now! No tripping and you'll be fine! If we could see the future Jeff; Then honestly, would you like that? Nope, I would say you wouldn't! Because at times, life can knock you flat! You see, if we saw the future; And parts were not very nice, Then that would make you worry, And knock you flat in a thrice! It's so easy to give up you know! Of that, it is oh, so very true! So never look to the day ahead! Because less worry is better for you! And there's no use pondering at all; On the; if, buts, and maybes of life! Because that is a total waste of time! And all it will do is bring you strife! So only think on today, chill back; Don't look to the future in case you see; Something that you don't like! Just stay positive and focus, like me! You see; things happen for a reason, Sometimes a reason that we can't see, So tell me, isn't it a waste of a day? To worry about what might be? Now we know at times in our lives, Things occur that we don't want to occur, But then again, who are we to complain; That life just isn't fair! Sure the hell not me Jeff; Because to me, life is precious and true; So go with the sways, bend in the wind, And all will be well once again for you! As long as we bend like the ear of a seed; And as long as we focus and accept; All the things in life that happen, And in your own faith; respect! And if you can do that, then all will be well, Just remember the seeds that bend… And then, and only then, Jeff; Will contentment become your friend!
