Worried Eh!Worried in the morning, worried in the night! Waking from another nightmare full of fright! You look to the future, look to the past! You're feeling panicky, how long will this last? Don't know what to do, don't know what to feel! This mess in your life lately seems so surreal! Well real it is, and I'll tell you true! Your future depends on no-one but you! So listen to your head today and tell the negative one! Tell it to go away, for there's a fight to be won! Jeff, listen to me! You should never look to tomorrow; If you lose your belief, you'll live in dread and sorrow! For the things that are unimportant to life! For all that will do, is cause unnecessary strife! Life is too short as it is, and I shall tell you true! I only wish all problems were as small as you! For some facing no future, now that's a scare! So if you want to be happy; lose the negative there! You have your health, and you know what I say? I bet you'd rather have that, than ill health this day! Because if you have your health, then I tell you true! You have all you need, to pull you through! Pull you through any trial that you face each day! And keep the faith in yourself, and focused you'll stay! You have to believe in you, for I'll tell you why! It's so easy to give in, and so easy to cry! Now the difference here, I have to say to you! Tears are the healer, but to give in won't do! For if you give in and give up on yourself this day, I can safely say to you, you may as well say; ‘Well that's it! My life is now over and I give up! For my life here, well, it's an overflowing cup! Overflowing with negativity, and oozing infection! It's running rife round my body, and there's no injection! No antidote to this feeling! It just won't go away! Because I woke up full of negative; this dreadful dull day!' But the day isn't dull Jeff; it's only a small glitch! We have them in life, we call them a hitch! Now the slippery slope of depression is very steep! So hang onto that focus, and please, don't you weep! For going down that hill is so easy to do! But then there's no telling what will happen to you! For the climb back up is a hard one to bear; Trust me Jeff, I know; because I've already been there! It was the brain tumours that did it, made me weep; And had me lose my focus so I went down, down so deep! And it was a hard fight to fight, to get back up that hill! It's not something that goes away, as easy as a pill! No, the fight to stay with the negative in me was bad; I let everything overwhelm me, and I was so sad! So listen to me you! Stay on top of that hill! You don't need an injection, nor need a pill! All you need in you; is the strength you have within! Trust me true, with that strength we always win! So don't feel down, sad or blue! For hey, watch out, there's a soggy cake for you! Now why have it soggy when it can be firm and sweet? Focus, stay strong don't be knocked off your feet! For the cake that is made with the best of the best; Will take full marks in any baking contest! For the cake that has the best ingredients of all; Is the cake that won't go soggy, and take a fall!
