You've seen it all,
The joy, the pain,
The winter sun,
The summer rain,
The falling leaves,
The budding spring,
The burning gold,
The wedding ring,
You've seen it now,
You've seen it all,
The way love lifts you,
When you fall,
You float on high,
You're in too deep,
You're fit to burst,
You cannot sleep,
The dizzy dancing,
In a crowd,
Love offers you,
A silver shroud,
In cosy comfort,
Safe cocoon,
The sun by day,
By night, the moon,
The stars that twinkle,
Velvet sky,
Loves touches,
Yes, you wonder why,
You've seen it all,
The empty shore,
And bleeding,
Hurting,
To the core.
