dashes- - - - - -of years©
Funeral services are over for the day,
and the people have all gone their way.
I've been left here in the prepared earth,
to determine what my life was worth.
In every dash between my years,
i hope i brought more laughter than tears.
For what an impact those little lines,
it shows just how i spent those times.
I know the date of my birth,
God made a note........
and about my death again he wrote.
Now a new life has begun,
and about the old days i pray:
he writes well done every one!
Dear God:please make my dash a reflection of you,AMEN
