A Haunted Heart, That Heals
A heart that heals has rhythm in the soul,
No longer haunted in sad memory,
It finds another heart to make it whole,
And dances in loves tender reverie,
Now blessed by moonbeams on a winter sky,
An empty chamber filled with love to share,
The haunted heart now soothed by lullaby,
Besotted in a new moon love affair,
The sun shines bright upon the lovers nest,
Its warmth now captured in a heart once cold,
Its beat now synchronized, at loves behest,
Their story set in place, as yet, untold.
The haunted heart is exorcised from pain,
A heart that heals learns how to love again.
