I Excepted My Greatest Gift...Have You?

 
  
Well it seems the hustle and bustle is here again
So many forgetting the real reason of the season
It's the birthday of Our Lord and Saviour
Born in a barn then layed in a troth called a manger
 
Oh how each day He should be exalted
But on this day above all it hurts when he's forgotten
I was just thinking of athiest out in this world
That is eager to except gifts yet believe not in the Lord
 
How can they celebrate Christmas yet not believe in Him?
This has got to be the strangest thing I have ever seen
Also how can any of us celebrate His birth
If we don't give a bit of thought of the cross and it's worth
 
Precious lamb of God not only on Christmas do you deserve praise
From all of mankind you should be magnified in all ways
You give us the very breath we each breathe
This alone we should bow in prayer on our knees
 
Let us change our ways to be more aware
To love you with all our heart and show we care
Let us magnify you Lord not only on this day we celebrate
Bring victory to a world that is still in debate
 
So many hearts are still cold and many stiff necked
 I pray to Jesus they will come to know Him yet
For I had been caught in that trap long ago
Living of and with this world and claiming you I know
 
This was a lie from the devil to rob me from true life
For in the blink of an eye soon He'll call His bride
My Christmas wish would be for all to fall in love with Him
Once a new born babe but now the King of Kings
 
For He truly is the greatest Christmas gift to receive
He showers us with love beyond our natural belief
Awake each morning and greet Him with good morning Lord
Then he'll walk and talk with you feeding also upon His word
 
Glory Be to God for giving the greatest gift of all
His only begotten son in hopes to save the world from a fall
I can say the closer you draw to Him he will draw to you
Then you will wonder how you ever went without this truth
 
I'm not judging just hoping to spark a light back in many
That claim to know Jesus but rarely go to church if any
If you fall in love with Him as he has longed for us to do
Then the saying He knows my heart will give new meaning to you.
 
God bless you each and everyone and know that all is written
in love and with the guidance of the precious Holy Spirit

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Merry Christmas to one and all, I pray that if you don't
have a true relationship with Jesus Christ that you will repent
and ask him to come into your heart and give a gift back to him this year...." Yourself "  that he already purchased but paid a far
more higher price than any gift we purchase today.
Put Christ back in CHRISTmas in every since of the way,
long to walk with Him each and everyday, find a good church home
to fellowship and grow and be watching for Him for He is coming
back soon,did you know?
In all things you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3 :17
