Heart Of The Matter
Bitter On The Tongue
Behind,
The candy floss exterior,
There is a woman,
Strong of character,
Bold and fun loving,
Open and honest,
She will bend to your bidding,
She will melt in your arms,
Stand proudly, lovingly, by your side,
IF, it is you,
She desires.
A spirit free,
She walks alone,
Unfettered and unafraid,
Undaunted by threats,
She is no fool,
She is perceptive,
She is a woman,
Who knows her own mind,
And,
She commands respect.
Cross her,
If it be your will,
To ply her with anger,
And acid acrimony,
Forgive her, my friend,
For verbal rape, has no effect on her,
She will stand against you,
Defiant and untouched,
And the sweet taste of candy,
May well leave you,
Bitter on the tongue.
