Man by Sunset Lake Pictures, Images and Photos

What is it man that kills?
Is it anger or fear?
Is it doubt - or - envy - or - pride . . .

consuming man
like fire
in the black face of the dark?

A prince of glory
he pretends
though he cries like a child

as the sun descends
when there is not a single soul left
but himself,

a specter
who has nothing
but an empty hand - and a cold heart.
