Heart Of The Matter
In A Little Spanish Town
They met in a bodega,
In a little Spanish town,
They warmed to one another,
Very quickly settled down,
It's true they got on famously,
He was just her kind of guy,
She knew just how to please him,
He was giving her the eye,
So happy in their reveries,
Caught up in loves desire,
His Spanish senorita,
Was the spark who lit his fire,
Her eyes would flash with passion,
He was putty in her hand,
He clenched a rose between his teeth,
She wore his wedding band,
By night they danced the tango,
Far away from prying eyes,
A love match made in heaven,
Blessed beneath the star filled skies,
They live happy ever after,
He no longer plays around,
For they met in a bodega,
In a little Spanish town.
