I've never swam in an ocean blue,
But one day I'll bask, in the river
Of life, where the Son will shine
For eternity, for He's already

The ancient city of Jerusalem, it's
Beauty my eyes may never see but
One day I will tour new Jerusalem,
All it's splendor unfolded for me,
The cost is already paid.
Diamonds, Rubies and precious stones,
I've none upon my fingers, but one
Day I'll wear a crown so fair,
Nothing earthly can ever share,
It's beauty or splender, and

I never have toured a mansion
Only glimpses from photos and t.v.
But one day I'll own one forever
That my Savior has built for me,
My deed is signed in His blood
No one can take it away,

So I don't fret about an ocean swim,
That I may never have, nor pine to
See Jerusalem, trace the steps where
My LORD has been, I'm headed to a
A city, mortal eyes have never
Seen, and my soul will live in rapture,
In beautiful New Jerusalem,
For the price has already been paid.
I do not long for precious stones,
I've a crown awaiting me
It's beauty so astounding,
My eye's will scarcely believe,
I'm doing my best, asking others, "Oh"
Please won't you come, go with me.
It was all paid in full, on Mount Calvary,
The deed, signed in the Lambs precious blood,
Was given freely to all that day, who will wash their
Sin's in His blood, "Oh" won't you wash
Your sin in His blood.
