Heart Of The Matter
Non-monochromatic Dreams
I turn the page,
Smooth my hand across the paper,
It is cool to the touch,
I let the moment linger,
With heart in hand,
I begin a new chapter,
The pen falters,
And the heart quivers,
In anticipation,
The tale unfolds,
As vistas open,
New horizons lie before me,
Yet, how familiar they seem,
They appear,
In vibrant colour,
Non-monochromatic dreams,
The pen quickens,
As does the heart,
I turn the page,
To tip toe from the dream,
And catching my breath,
I hold on,
And step into reality.
