I don't have to live with sickness
Or disease of any kind.
I don't have to be a cripple--
Be deaf or dumb or blind.
Christ was wounded for this purpose.
By His stripes I'm fully healed.
It's recorded in God's Word.
It's what the Lord, my God revealed.
I don't have to fear the darkness.
I am walking in the Light.
I don't have to be afraid
Though the storms rage through the night.
In His Name I have all power.
All the foes from hell must flee.
It's recorded in God's Word
And His Word abides in me.
It's recorded in God's Word
And His Word shall never fail.
He hastens to perform it.
And through faith it shall prevail.
Heaven and earth may pass away
But His mighty Word lives on.
It's recorded in God's Word
And my God's still on The Throne.
I don't have to go on sinning,
He's lifted me out of it.
I don't have to think of dying--
I'll rise, there's no doubt of it!
Never shall His children want
For His followers He feeds.
It's recorded in God's Word
And my God supplies my needs.
It's recorded in God's Word
And His Word has made me whole.
For it has renewed my mind--
And is written on my soul.
