Lying Eyes
I long for the darkness
To shield these lying eyes
All alone with lonely
No one to hear my cries
When the sun is shining
They're as blue as they can be
An optical illusion
Your not getting what you see
These eyes do a damn good job
Of playing a happy part
Manage to get close enough
You'll hear a breaking heart
While smiling on the outside
Crying deep within
Knowing when the sun sets
Lonely tears will begin
Eyes they say I'm all right
What bitter lies they tell
