It's coming upon twenty years
Since your passing brought many tears
The void I felt no words could relay
But Jesus has filled that void I can now say
So today I want to remember and honor you
With Mother's Day wishes with joy too
In years past I wrote with such sadness
Now the joy of the Lord has brought happiness
Mama I know you are looking down
Seeing the beauty of my flowers all around
You passed your love of them on to me
I know you're pleased with all their beauty
Soon the roses will bloom again
My purple Iris' are really multiplying
Both the cherry trees were a sight to see
The apple trees are now blooming
The bleeding hearts are so very lovely
I know the roses is what you long to see
I told God last year I would honor Him
Inside and outside planting , pruning , and loving
I saw the glory quickly manifesting
Never had I seen my yard flourish like then
Even rose bushes that died bloomed again
A touch of the Master's hand did transcend
Perhaps it was your tears of joy watering them
Seeing the work that God was doing in your children
You have two sons and a daughter now in ministry
Two preaching the word the youngest son singing
We're now standing in the gap for three
Our God is faithful and you we'll again see
For all your children will get the victory
Standing on His word I declare and decree
So have the happiest Mother's Day yet
These words to you is that you never forget
You may no longer live on earth
But you live in our hearts with all our love since birth
Happy Mother's day precious Mama of mine
Watch for the roses to bloom again anytime
Remember as they grow I always think of you
For you are a rose in heaven shining through
