Beneath The Fairy Tale
She dreams not of fairy tales
For her love is real
With heartache and longing
She cannot conceal
A bittersweet portrayal
Of feelings gone undone
She looks to the heart
And there's no place to run
Come with honesty and reason
Across the bridges now of life
Where warm winds may blow
Or even cut like a knife
She'll conquer every teardrop
Survive each turbulent storm
Her faith on the horizon

She has given him her heart

Awaiting a unity of the two
