Nerve Test
Tomorrow (Wed.) I go for an EMG
It is a nerve test, enabling them to see
If carpal tunnel is the pain in my wrists
But I know God will help me through this
Aggravated by new exercises for my back
Prolonged computer usage is a drawback
Is it me, or do others ignore and deny pain?
Until there is no choice, so help we obtain
My family doctor gave me braces to wear
On both wrists as further protection there
It feels awkward, relearning to type again
Yet relief from pain I am starting to gain
This is just another bump along the way
God will continue to guide me day by day
Someday my trials will be gone forever
When I reach my eternal home hereafter
