You give breath to every man
That's why now I can't understand
Many turning their back on you
Forsaking your love forever true
I know there was a time I turned my back too
It was before I knew your love so true
It was before I fed daily on your word
It was before I acted on the still small voice I heard
I shouldn't have allowed anyone to steal my joy
I shouldn't have allowed the enemy to try and destroy
I shouldn't have wasted years to you adore
I shouldn't have ever been bitter and sore
I now have a personal relationship with you
I now know your divine love so true
I now let you guide my steps through life
I now adore you my friend and my Christ
I wouldn't want to wake up without you
I wouldn't want to live without your love so true
I couldn't survive without you in my life
I couldn't function without you my Christ!
