~+~ A Call To Salvation ~+~
It isn't very popular
To profess faith in these days.
Followers of Jesus Christ
Are put down rather than praised.
Prayer has been deemed worthless
By a sick and wayward world.
Unbelievers will mock God
Until they see His wrath unfurled!
Oh, what a rude awakening
Awaits the doubting one!
When each stands before the Judge
To answer to the Son!
Regrets will come too late for him
Or tears will stain her cheek.
But each ignored the Word of God...
Never took the time to seek.
Some say a good and loving God
Couldn't send a soul to hell.
And He doesn't, if we understand
And study His Word well.
The hoards that will miss Heaven
Have chosen their own doom.
God provided for salvation
But man needs to give God room.
Room in our hearts for Him to dwell...
Room in our lives for others.
Love has to be the guiding force
To make us sisters and brothers.
The Cross must be the meeting place
For God's creation to unite.
Please, people, do not miss your chance!
Please don't get left...get right!
Repent of all your sins and ask
Forgiveness for them all.
Please make your heart a home for God...
Please heed salvation's call.
