If your presence was ever taken away
In a world that is full of sorrow and pain
I praise the Lord your presence remains
Even in the valley you are forever near
Your soft gentle voice I often hear
You are the joy that fills my heart and soul
Sweet Holy Spirit with me where ever I go
Many days I had been in the valley of tears
Yet you Sweet Holy Spirit are forever near
For there is victory for those that are led
By you the Holy Spirit the word I am fed
I pray that if this world you ever leave
You'll take me with you this I plead
For I wouldn't want to be here one minute
Without your presence Sweet Holy Spirit
I can remember the emptiness without you
And I can remember the loneliness too
My prayer is that all mankind can know

No...I don't want to wake up ever missing you
I want to give you praises for all that you do
I also give glory to God the Father and Christ Jesus too
For three in one the trinity I adore all of you
Come Holy Spirit and may you pour out
Over all your sons and daughters you spoke about
For all can surely see the signs of the times
