After hearing the news this morning,
listening to the president speak,
and the members of congress,
I was brought to my knees
in prayer.
Please join me~~~~~~
Bless this Mess
Dear Lord, please just Bless this Mess,
Our Nation is in such deep distress,
Greed had invaded, it's come to stay,
We must devise another way.
Help us to all understand
We must work together to save our land.
United we stand, divided we fall,
What effects my brother, effects us all.
Our Jesus gave us just one command,
To love your brother, give a helping hand,
And to Love the Lord with all our might,
When all else fails, we must stand and fight.
Joining together, let us take a stand,
Pray for the leaders of this land,
For the new president, who ever he be
That he keeps our country safe and free.
Lord, I offer here this humble prayer,
Please guide us through this dark despair.
We lay all these problems at Jesus' cross,
Forgive our sins, else all is lost.
We have been on our knees before,
Through hurricanes, and terrorist war,
Gentle Jesus, just bless this mess,
Grant us, please, complete success.
