Put not your trust in Man

Eight years in college and twenty years in his field
I can diagnose the problem just tell me how you feel
I have the experience I have done it many times before
I don't guarantee I'll be successful once more
Trust that I'll do the best that I can
But please remember I'm just a man

I've tried many cases won more that a few
What I have done for others I may do for you
But there is a judge over which I have no control
Only the highest judge determines how it will go
Trust I will do the best that I can
But please remember I'm just a man

Put not your faith in me, I'm just a man
You should just pray for me, place me in Gods hands
For God he sits up high and looks down low
The will he has for you only he knows
Put not your faith in me the man you see
Yet place your faith in the God you see in me

Finance is my specialty, it is what I do
I can make your money work hard for you
I don't promise riches of a life care free
For those things cannot be granted by me
Trust that I will do the best that I can
But please remember I'm just a man

I say my vows to be honest and true
I make this commitment to always love you
Making every effort to protect your heart
Never intending to tare it apart
Trust that I will do the best that I can
But please remember I am just a man

Put not your faith in me, I'm just a man
You should just pray for me, place me in Gods hands
For God he sits up high and looks down low
The will he has for you, only he knows
Put not you faith in me, the man you see
Yet place your faith in the God you see in me
