  "OH  MICHIGAN,  FAREWELL"
Hosted by UploadImage.ws

Oh  Michigan, car  capital  of
The  USA, thy  prestigious
Title, crumbled  and  tattered
Crying  at  the  capital,
Day  after  day

You're  reduced  now
To  begging, mourning  the  loss
Of  personal  gain? perhaps  you
Should  have  "rented  a  wreck"
And  driven  the  first  day

Booming, prosperous  plants
Now  stand  in  cold  silence
Padlocks  on  rusting  gates
Factories, that  put  Millions
Of  shiny  cars  on  the  road
Now  stand  idle  in  the
Michigan  snow

Provided  many  roofs  over  families
Heads, helped  cloth  and  feed  them  too
What  is  to  become  of  you  and  them
Now?  "OH  Michigan, MY  MICHIGAN, Farewell"
