My heart is inditing a good matter:
I speak of the things which I have made touching the king:
my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Dear Heavenly Father ;
I come to you for help to let others understand
The poetry I write comes from the Holy Spirit's guidance
I want all to know I'm not trying to condemn
I'm really not even the author ,I'm just your pen
One of many messengers you use to speak through
It's not easy at times to pen what you want me to
For I myself am not perfect and fall short each day
I thank-you for your mercy and long to give you praise
I'm hoping for less of me and more of you
To daily be molded and more humble too
There's still so much to yet be done
Please help me Lord as I journey on
Perfect your love that's inside of me
To be more like Jesus is my plea
That the words I pen out others will know
Come from the heart of God to help all grow
My heart's desire is to seek and save the lost
To bring lost souls to the foot of the cross
To give you honor and glory in all I do
To share your love and be pleasing unto you
For Jesus is the whole heart of the matter
With a burdened heart His children I want to gather
I see the signs of the times and it makes me so anxious
Please help me to bring them to their Saviour,Christ Jesus
So many are hurting and trying to do things on their own
Even some that have excepted Him fail to go to the throne
Remind them all Lord that you haven't left them alone
To love and trust in Jesus until we're raptured home
This is my plea and prayer in JESUS name....AMEN
