This Is The Day And Year

This is the year that the Lord hath made
This day and hour He listens for us to pray
Come one and all gather in equal accord
Come let's feast on God's Holy Word
Take every thought captive that's not of Him
For the devil is a liar and wants to keep you in sin
Rejoice in this hour....Rejoice in this day
For our redeemer came to give life abundantly
It is written faith cometh by hearing and hearing
by God's word
Don't get up into strife by the media or
secular talk you have heard
For our God is more powerful than anyone on this earth
It is He that formed and made you
And it is He that will help you through
His riches go beyond that of mortal man
for
He is the great " I Am "....
He wants to lead and guide you
He made this hour and this day to wash your sins away
And if you're broken hearted He can mend it today
Every tear you cry is bottled and every prayer too
His love is everlasting for He cares for you
So won't you see this is the day that the Lord hath made
He's not mad at you He just wants to show you the way
He said my people perish for lack of knowledge
Which all is in my word if they will read and recall it
His promises are there for the taking
If you'll submit your life to Him
He owns all the cattle on the hillside
He even gives you the breath of life
Won't you open up your heart and let Jesus reside
For this and every day is the day the Lord hath made
He wants you to come just as you are
To take up residence in your heart
And upon doing this He promises never to depart
He wants to transform your life on this very day
To give you the Holy Spirit to guide you along the way
This is a gift to all that will listen
This is a gift to all that will sincerely pray
Just bow down and pray to the Father
Excepting Jesus today as your Savior
Then give Him your will as you pray and fellowship
As you forget not to feed your body in order to live
Don't forget to feed on the word
Your spirit man needs fed to grow and give
All wisdom and knowledge, truly comes through Him
Thank Him for this day and all the peace and joy within

Psalm 18:28-30
28 For thou wilt light my candle:
the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by thee I have run through a troop;
and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Psalm 27:1-3
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;

Prov.19:2
Also, that the soul be without knowledge,
it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;
but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all
that is written therein: for then thou shalt

and then thou shalt have good success.

So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.
