Medical or scientific terms
Don't usually interest me.
I'm not among the many
Whose IQ stores memory.
Always an average student
In the schools I once attended,
Writing was the only subject
My straying mind befriended.
Reflecting on this fact today,
I have spiritually discerned
This talent was bestowed by God
And not anything I learned.
Now it intends to lead me
Through a scientific lesson.
So please forgive my clumsiness
As I stumble through this session.
God wants to touch upon a fact
Very few have ever heard,
Although the concept is contained
In the pages of His Word.
Christians do embrace creation.
We understand God is The Force
Who spoke the worlds into existence
And keeps them all on course.
Gravity, atoms, or molecules
Make up His sustaining glue
To hold pyhsical worlds together.
We should all know this is true.
But what about us human beings?
What about our physical form?
What holds our frames together?
We know what we consider norm...
We know God is the spiritual force
Who overlooks and seals our soul.
But He designed our beautiful bodies
To play a major spiritual role.
You see, our bodies are a witness.
We're not a casual turn and toss.
The glue that holds us all together
Is in the shape of Christ's Cross!
I was spiritually blown away
When I first discovered this.
But our God is an awesome God
As all the evidence insists!
The scientific/medical term
For this link is labled laminin.
It is God's connecting Cross...
It points directly back to Him!
Look it up and learn how God
Leaves us traces of His story.
All chronicles of creation
Are declarations of His glory.
The image of His sacrifice
Is projected in a star!
And in every human body!
It reflects just who we are...
Instruments of Almighty God
Designed to play a perfect part
In the greatest story ever told...
A connecting portrait of God's art
Let us marvel at the miracle
All these clumps of clay record.
We are wonderfully put together...
Glued in place by our great Lord.

Author's Note... This poem was inspired by two
DVD's I watched. One was called "Indescribable"
and the other "How Great Is Our God." Louie
Giglio presents the message in both. I couldn't
get these films out of my mind and I knew the
Lord wanted me to comment on the message they reveal
through a poem. So I prayed about it and here it is.
I would recommend these films...you'll be amazed!
Plus look up the word laminin on your computer.

What a mighty God we serve and I tell ya,
