His life is a celebration to all that knew this man
My spirit connected with him thru the phone line
I praise the Lord if but for a short time
He allowed Papa Ish to be adopted into this heart of mine
My heart aches to have to wait to hear his voice
But glory be to God for it was His choice
I'm blessed that I got to speak to him again
I told him I loved him and he spoke back to me the same thing
I was and will be his Liny Girl forever
For the bond we grew death never can sever
When rapture comes I'll still get my wish
For the dead in Christ shall rise includes Papa Ish
To receive our new bodies and live forever more
My hugs will be many as I enter heavens door
For so many of my loved ones have gone on ahead
But glory be to God we'll all be reunited as Christ bride to wed
I thank-you Father and praise you for the life of Papa Ish
For deep down for him to continue to suffer wasn't our wish
Today he is whole and has full breath and life
No more to struggle in health nor cares or strife
He wouldn't want any of his family to grieve for his leaving
This world is just temporary and heaven awaits for the believing
So Papa Ish, thank-you for the love and life you shared with us
Someday we'll meet again at the Great Celebration with Jesus
