Love Always

The sun was hidden the air was brisk. Her breathing was shallow, life was fleeting.
Long life has held her she has seen many years. Yet, it does not stop the tears.
Her life now dwells in a realm of souls, gentle light of love, the bells ring out its toll.
In many ways, I see her smile and know she greets her sisters and brothers.
Now taking her place with others.
Born in winter's wake gone in youthful spring, the Holy Angels now softly sings.
When my time comes, please greet me in a gentle whisper of love.
I travel the long path that leads above.
Hold my peace and goodwill and know I love you still.
Your journey has brought you home, we will meet again when I no longer roam.
Love, always.
