Well, I am 29 years old divorced and Remarried with three wonderful children Nicholas, Jennifer, and Charlotte.
I dropped out of high school at 17 years old. Went back and finished at 28 years old and also found my calling in life as a CNA at the same time. My father is always asking me “What took me so long?" Well that's easy. My son Nicholas was doing homework one night and I was giving him that speech, you know,” You will need an education if you want to get anywhere in life!”
It dawned to me at that exact moment” DON'T YOU NEED AN EDUCATION MOM!” how could I preach to him about what I did not even bother to achieve my self? I was being a hypocrite. So I showed my children two things; 1 it is never to late to fix a mistake and 2 that education was so important to me that I did even while raising them and working. Nothing is impossible if you want it bad enough! Now I am in pursuit of my life long dream to share my writing with the world.
So here I am, at it again! Truth be told I want more for them then what my father and step mother gave me. To be able to give them knowledge, ambition, and self respect is the best gift any parent can give.
To rap this up I am a Mother, a Poet, a nurse, and a dreamer.
