The soul has much to say

Hope and a prayer...

I'm here, again
Hurling pleas of mercy, into the dark
Trying to die, to self
Looking to be buried, under humility

You sleep, at night
I whisper, into His hear
The truth, I crave
From Him,

My faith, like a child's
Tearing open, my heart
Images of you
He's not surprised

He's God, of the impossible
The Master, of regeneration
I'm just flesh and blood,
void of any...divine rights

Beholding His face,
far from a secret
I stare into His eyes,
with hope and a prayer
