Today's Poetry
Tender Age
She was just a tot of two
When her daddy died
Then at tender age of twelve
Daddy found his bride
He found a little shack
For them to call their own
The withered boards had cracks
And then there were no phones
She tried to be grown up
And learned to boil water
She cooked and sewed
To her it was no bother
She swept dusty floors
And peeked out the window
Anticipating he’d come soon
To find a welcomed home
While she tried to be a wife
Daddy welcomed others
The girls batted eyelashes
While she became a mother
He loved women it’s true
But momma’s beauty won him
And so he wrestled with emotions
That grew like thorns on stems
Her little fingers worked all day
Her little heart just loved him!
She did not know another way
And she had found her gem
They had two tots of their own
A fairytale come true
But their love was not to be
And Daddy left her blue

Natures Gentle Song
Despite The Dark Of Night
Chance Of Gray
Ache in my soul!
Where Flowers Grow
A New Leaf's Smile
The Colors of Your Love
America The Dream
I Brush Away The Crumbs
Breath of winters chill
Across the Written Skies
Always
Anchor of My Soul
Rainbow Pale to Stay
Angels Dust & Pearls
As close as a whisper
A Distant Star
Daddy Dumpling
A Glide Of Velvet Fingers
A place called home
A Song Lingers There
Belly Aching Leaves of Wilt
Wheelchair Bound
Broken Soul
Flower in my soul
Colour him Father Colour him Love
Dance Upon The Moon
I thought of you today
Abandoned and Aware
Day of Reckoning!
Dementia
Echoes Of You
