WELCOME TO BABY JULIAN
I cannot believe it, I'm a great grandma!
This is something that has me in complete awe;
I knew all along his mommy was giving birth,
I watched over the months as she grew in girth;
But it never dawned on me of my new status until
I was congratulated and just had to sit still;
I was overwhelmed at becoming a grandmother,
At the birth of little Julian's mom's oldest brother;
I believe I thought Julian was another grandchild,
And I tell you the realization was far from mild;
You may wonder how this could come as such a shock,
I like to think my mind's as sound as a rock;
As I sit here I believe I'm on the verge of tears,
At the thought that I have lived so many years;
Tears of joy as I welcome little Julian to the fold!
Wake up, Sharon, after all you're 61 years old!
I cannot believe it, I'm a great grandma!
This is something that has me in complete awe;
I knew all along his mommy was giving birth,
I watched over the months as she grew in girth;
But it never dawned on me of my new status until
I was congratulated and just had to sit still;
I was overwhelmed at becoming a grandmother,
At the birth of little Julian's mom's oldest brother;
I believe I thought Julian was another grandchild,
And I tell you the realization was far from mild;
You may wonder how this could come as such a shock,
I like to think my mind's as sound as a rock;
As I sit here I believe I'm on the verge of tears,
At the thought that I have lived so many years;
Tears of joy as I welcome little Julian to the fold!
Wake up, Sharon, after all you're 61 years old!
