The soul has much to say

Not enough sun...

Numbered days
devoted

to bottling
the impossible

Encasing
defining moments

one glass veil
at a time

Invisible armor
that has endured

insidious storms
and slippery hands

Absent minded sojourner
am I

Never occurred
to me

that I would
one day

break the seal
of my dreams

Perfectly
preserved

heart
and soul

All that
was needed

was a reason
from above

Poetic
protocol?

Lyrical
discipline?

Not here
not now

Life
and love

so exquisitely
abstract

It's okay
to color

outside
the lines

The most beautiful
of Cherubs

has opened
my eyes
