Day Of Reckoning!

I swam the blue gray ocean
I swam in waters deep
I saw the edges rise so high
Although, it stayed from seep
Like water Moses parted
When ancient days still ruled
I swam in waters’ risen high
And then again ‘got pulled
I watched the heavens open
Descending, ‘Jesus came
He landed in an open space
Where many,’ fell on shame
I was amongst the people
That mingled in a park
I watched as they all scurried
Afraid they’d miss the hark
O’er the course of day
Jesus called out names
One by one ‘He summoned
Those with and without fame
And as the list was ending
I, ‘faint with disbelief
Waited anxiously, alert
While Jesus called and sieved
I inched a little closer
To hear my name when called
I sunk a little lower
Before I woke appalled
