For a Limited Time Only
Are you being or becoming~~
that which is necessary for the easement of others..
Is it for the sake of charity, a sacrifice made daily..
A disarmament of one's own personality~~
Is it done, out of cowardice?
For fear of reprisal or judgement?
Or, is it that which all children at heart possess~~
That of empathy, wonder and kindness..
Are you a mirrored reflection of all that you see?
There's only so many faces you can pull out of the hat..
If I turned the kaleidoscope with the simple twist of
fate, would I bring into focus the real me?
Or, am I just another snowflake?
It's dazzling and remarkable, the colors of the rainbows
in my mind~~
How just like the changes in the weather, sometimes it's
a coat I wear, and sometimes it's a sweater..
For every season I see the true reason..
For my being here..if only for a little while..
