Poetic-Verses

I like Jelly Toast

Poisoned Violets of disarray.
and the misspent youth of yesterday..
Halos and shadows, forever chasing the Dawn..
Never to reach, what some call Heaven..
it's really just another Hell..
The Glory of Magnified Nothingness..
So what if they've dropped the Atom Bomb..
Mother still likes what she sees..
Having water on the knee..
The touch of mental illness is striking..
For one who calls themselves sane..
I like cottage cheese..and fitted cotton
sleeves..seersucker feels like it should..
It helps me to keep cool..
If you're not part of the solution,
then you're part of the problem..
Remind me later, mirror mirror on the wall
Who's the greatest one of us to fall..
Calculated footsteps that pass away
the hours of pain..So tell me who's to blame..
The sunshine needs the rain..And the purple
sphere of pleasure is to find purpose
in each and every measure..To drink until
we longer thirst..We can stay hungry for
so long..as we put our children to sleep tonite..
We read into them our fears and devotions,
our blessings and our curses..
Renunciation of a dead dying and somnambulistic world..
Say hello, not goodbye to your everlasting soul..
I still like your jelly toast, how about you?
