Poetic-Verses

veranda with Amanda~~

~~when the sunshine reverses it's course, and the first thing you see when you wake from bed,
is the Moon above you, and stars collide and form halos around your head, and splashing things,
such as colors and sparks, and yes, there is some nasty business, maybe it's best we don't see,
what's on the other side of our known dimensions, the hidden knowledge, that some call truth,
and others call their religion, while battles go ever on, to win you over to this side or that,
so no one is to blame, though your soul is stricken, and your body is searching for the next
sensation, consciousness proves your identity and speaks highly of you, although sometimes,
you can't hear me I'm forever with you, a passenger, that should have gotten off the last
stop, but failed to stop looking through the rear view mirror, I like spending money and the
freedom we have, was invented by those who are wealthy, it doesn't cost much to smile or hold
the door open for a complete stranger, and we all have to walk down the same old streets
together, so I try, with not so much of an effort, just to unplug from the hate filled world,
and see how that works, when I don't react to people's insistent masochistic behavior, when I
deny them what they want most, and emotional punching bag and thorazine, disguised as altoids,
in your mother's purse~~the end, by Rick Weber, April 1, 2015, copyrights reserved 2015(c)
