gone
..like leaving your home,
and trying to come back..
and realizing everything's changed..
and there's no turning back..
Having uprooted and been thrown into the wind..
Or having your mind stolen, your very soul
poisoned..and crying, for no reason..
except that you're in pain, and you
can't understand, why the World we're in..
is so crazy, and all your enemies
are now your friends..those things
that you've worked for, how you've
saved and squandered, and now
just fills up space in some dirty
landfill..how vane we see ourselves..
the necessity, to ask others,
if we're okay..not knowing the clock
on the wall, is slowly ticking away..
..and I missed another fine meal with my
wife, prepared to my liking..all because
someone decided not to relieve me on time..
