Poetic-Verses

t.rex

~~like a tyrannosaurus-rex
the little boy who wanted a little more than all the rest..
creeping around the corner of your life..
and looking through your bedroom window..
and watching you and your wife..
crosses painted on some wood..
a rusty nail planted through my wrist..
leaded paint never tasted so good..
the Klan of everlasting..
Of sympatico, shining into tomorrow..
Glue and rubber, a toothbrush stiffened
whisper pass through me into a newer kind
of religion, where and when the timekeeper
takes it upon himself to release all the
prisoners, for some will be visited by shadows
of darkness, for a little thing called sin..
and others will walk the path towards the light..
Fortunate are they, those who rise to the sky..
Crux upon the decision, a single rose..
held between my teeth..towering castles of
a mad imagination, talent wasted..
virtue is self-immolated, violence is painted
over, white washed sands etched and ached
and the winds are what remains, until the
next creation..
the end
