Poetic-Verses

the here and now~~

staring at the vacuum of space..
so I see a shining star, from whence it came..
I know not where, the name or the place..
it takes time for me to see the light..
a line drawn from the setting sun, from where
the light begun, a dim conclusion..basking in
the shadow of illusion..the crime is sinful
the punishment useful..and so many a lesson
is learned, the pity is wasted on fools..
whose cries cannot be heard, over the laughter
that apathetic youth breathe in so heavily..
who think it cool to be cruel and dish it out
like so much gravy..spilled on a freshly
laundered charity suit..you can't hear me
even if you tried, for even as I type this..
you've gone on to bigger and better things..
and that's no lie, I don't blame you..
in fact, I'd join you..just drop me a line..
you know where to find me..somewhere between
yesterday's meaning and tomorrow's dream..
and this little distraction, we sometimes call..
the here and now..
~~the end
