~~2 Little Dogs"

~~The Walls have Ears, and the Windows have Eyes--
What then gives voice to the Spirits of This Fair House?--
For it is the Neighbors, who Live Upstairs--
That Walk Hard and Run About--
Their Heavy Footsteps, their Two Little Dogs--
That scratch upon the Floors and Bark at All Hours..
Is it our own House?--Or, is it shared space, that is taken,
Rather than Borrowed?--

On Top, Beside, Below and Across--

Yelling we Both hear--

From Our Dear Upstairs Neighbors--
Usually, "Bad Dog, Bad Dog, Bad Dog!!~~

My Wife and I both feel Pity and Remorse, for those Two Little Dogs..

They're both couped up there, all by themselves..
Left alone, all day, barking and fighting, and carrying on--

And then we have the ones downstairs--

Coughing and Laughing, and later..Vomiting..

They liked the Birthday cake, my wife made--
we had plenty to spare, so we up and gave them 3 big slices..

The nice neighbors, across the Hall, are an Elderly Black Couple..
Both Chain smoke, we gave them cake as well, his Wife has Dementia
and I'm sure the Man has his own kinda Hell..

The neighbors Upstairs, we don't see much, not the mean ones,
with the two Little Dogs..

But, the Young Men..I believe one's a Security Guard..
The Other, just keeps to himself--

We've got Muslims, Blacks and Mexicans in our Backyard..
A small Housing Block beyond our Apartment..
A Gas Station, a Used Car lot, and a very Busy Road, and beyond that..
A Large shopping Mall..Down the road even Further we've got some Guitar Shoppes..
Me and My Wife, when we have Days Off, search for New Places to Eat At..
Usually Pasta, Subs or Gyros..My Friend Matthew and I, Relive our Youth from Time to Time..
I go over to his House, bust some rhymes, and hit his Drums, make some noise..
Playing and Singing and being Silly, Like the Children that we are, yesterday, today
and tomorrow, never changes..And it really shouldn't..And this my Fair readers, is just part
of the story to tell..What'd you expect for a nickel, right?
"Gone with da Wind~~?  Stay tuned tomorrow, if you really wanna see how this story ends..
