Poetic-Verses

water for the King and I"

~~word had gotten back to the King"
that his people had all gone Insane--
the King took it upon Himself to See if this were True or Not--
The King rode into Town, and Saw for Himself that Indeed this was True--
His People had All Gone Insane--
The King needed Refreshment,
He Dismounted from his Horse,
And took Water from the Town's Well--
No one had told the King, that it was the Water, that Had made his People
Sick..
After a few sips of Water..
the King looked 'round once more and remarked--
"..I see nothing wrong here.."
The Town's People All Rejoiced--
"Hoorah!! Hoorah!! Long Live the King!!"
the end

ps.
"This is a parable--and it has many interpretations..
One is, Never send a King, to do an errand boy's work"
pps.
another is, "Insanity isn't Insane, Unless You're the One,
"Not" drinking the Water.."
