Stepping into the light
My awakening brings clarity

As so much has changed
Yet some remain the same

Those who get me
 Understand the transformation

Those still in the dark
Want to strangle my essence

I will not be chained
To a past that is buried

Planting seeds in the present
So I can meet destiny

Undaunted by the roadblocks
As they are lessons in Trust

Boldly moving forward in Faith
