I have always been told
Age is just a number
Never knew what that meant
Until I grew older
Feels like only yesterday
My youth was here to stay
Without a care in the World
Not privy to the trials of Life
HOWEVER, Time waits for no one
Here I am now
Celebrating another trip around the Sun
No regrets and so much
To be grateful for
In the grand scheme of things
Age is only a number
For we are not defined by years
But, how we choose to live them
