MYRONSKY
Can I say anything that won't sound mean?
Well, he was the cutest baby I've ever seen!
Smooth skin, pretty mouth, great big eyes,
The sight of him evoked from me little sighs;
My little Myronsky used to love me a lot,
Does he now? Sometimes I think not;
When I hear his voice, I feel such a thrill,
"Hi, Myron!" Silence makes me stand still!
I wonder why he shows so little emotion,
Am I from the far side of the Indian Ocean?
He lived with me once, didn't want to go back,
His mom disagreed, his mood turned black;
Did Myron think I didn't want him to stay?
I'd like him to know, I didn't send him away;
He had to go home, she missed him very much,
I told Myronsky we'd always keep in touch;
Ever since then, he's been distant and cool,
Makes me feel like an awkward fool!
Wonder what I can do to make him see,
Be great to have things like they used to be.
Can I say anything that won't sound mean?
Well, he was the cutest baby I've ever seen!
Smooth skin, pretty mouth, great big eyes,
The sight of him evoked from me little sighs;
My little Myronsky used to love me a lot,
