THAT COULD NEVER HAPPEN TO ME!

I listened as two women talked about rape,
Knives at their throats, mouths covered with tape;
I became enraged and started to cry,
Couldn't help thinking I'd just have to die

Before I'd let any man humiliate me so,
I'd damage him good right down below;
If attacked from behind, I'd use my elbow,
Knock me to the floor, I'd kick and scream so;

Give him a run for his money all over the place,
Tear his eyes out, rip the skin from his face;
He'd wish he'd never met the likes of me!
Try to hurt me and he'd surely see

No woman can be raped if she puts up a fight,
Whether by day or in the middle of the night;
Women must realize they have to resist,
Kick those perverts, punch hard with their fists!

My sisters everywhere need to learn the key
To escape from these fiends and get away free.
Unfortunately, reality can hit a person hard,
I was brutally raped, caught completely off-guard.
